Apparently Porsche is offering a 211 hp version of the 2.7L engine in some countries now.

I thought they did this for CO2 tax reasons and nothing you can actually buy, much like the VW 4-pot Macan that only exists on paper, but the CO2 savings are tiny. Only 3g/100km!

This has been the case since the 986.
In some countries it's cheaper to own/register a car that has 211HP or less.

It takes the performance back to the 2002 model 2.7 litre. They had 228 bhp then but were lighter.
