Hi all

After a fantastic airfield day at Bassingbourn, I need to replace the glass of one of my headlamps after a stone smashed it.

Does anyone know what model car they are scourced from? Ford possibly? My car is a 96 4.0 Chimaera.

thanks

B

When did you last see a Ford or other modern day tin box with 7 inch round headlamps?

The lens are around 15-20 pounds from TVR.

Fitting them is real fun as that cowl usually has to come off and with some cars it is mastic'd in place and with others it is also bolted. .

While you are at it, you can consider renewing the lamps themselves. Did the same on mine and I thought that it might as well be a good idea to replace the lamp itself so that it has a fresh reflective coating to it - worth the investment as the lights now work as apposed to the candles...

Cheers,
