Brand new Fezza 360 Spider for GBP99k, no tax to pay for three years and have it on swiss plates!

Have they got around to hunting you down when you that bastard speed camera takes your pic and you have non-UK plates?

If not, would this be a good idea?

Sounds like a good deal. Where do you stand with insuring a car with swiss export plates?

Good point. Give them a ring and see what they suggest. I am sure it can't be too hard if the car can be registered over there.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think if it is registered in the U.K then there will be a few probs and you are given months to change the plates over. I think.

if it's less than 6mnths old, don't you have to pay import taxes too ?

If it's less than 6 months old and from an eec country, there is VAT but no import duty. But the swiss aren't in the eec are they (to be totally independant), if so there is VAT & 10% import duty.
