Why is it 'reported' on the internet that various supercars have waiting lists, when dealers have new/delivery mileage cars in stock for immdediate sale ? There are 2 Aventadors on PH, 1 with 50 miles, another with 70 miles. I guess these are new.

Are they for sale with main dealers and are they over list price?

If the answer to the first question is 'no' and the answer to the second question is 'yes', that probably answers your original question!

Indeed, if you're willing to pay the premium there is no need to wait, you just have to accept that someone else speced the car for you.

Main dealer yes, but price is difficult without know all the extras and having a extras price list. I doubt if two the same ever leave the factory.

Unless they are unregistered with no former keepers, not even the dealer, then they are second hand, they will be 'like new' but they aren't new.

Ex demo? How many would buy a car, and put 50 miles on the clock, then get rid of it?

An ex demo car is still an ex demo car, not a new one. I guess at this price point you might want to have a car that is as untouched as they come. I know I would.
