Hi Peeps...Went to the ford garage earlier to drop off some buts for the blower which has been sold...Saw this lovely ole Dodge charger (B-Body)...Its bloody long..Looks about 30ft....Very nice..Although i couldn't get a full frontal...Bah!!

They also have this which is a rare Rialto that they have just finished doing the bodywork..The 8 litre straight 8 has been rebuild and had spun white hot metal applied to the bearings...I think its around 130bhp which aint bad for a 30's classic...The strange thing is that it was one of the brothers who work there father-in-laws first car...It has race history as well..He has managed to get it back again...Me and the other brother agreed that it needs to become a HOT ROD.....biggrin

Found some more 280 bits an all while i was there..Im clearing my garage out so they will be added and it will be fleabay'ed..Cant seem to set up an ad on PH and any attempt at just letting people know is thwarted..Oh well...

Back in the '70s I worked for a developer on the IOW. He had a Dodge Charger, such a practical vehicle for an island with so few straight or wide bits.

He had impeccable taste - to the extent that the windscreen washer sprays were miniature Mannekin Pis figures (little Belgian boys peeing on the screen).

Oh happy days!

Funnily enough, there was an early 1970s Ford Mustang outside our office today, it was having new Carlos Fandangos fitted by the local tyre monkeys. Shame it sounded like it was missing on a couple of cylinders when it started up... whistle
