Thought it was now safe to head up to Nottingham following the carnage this morning so jumped on the M42.

After getting no more than 40 fking yards down the slip road, it's ground to a halt.

What the fk is wrong with people.

Apparently some of them don't check traffic reports before heading out.

Because they are all that daft they didn't bother looking 40 yards ahead of them to see if there was standing traffic. Or that they decided TrafficMaster wasn't worth the money. Or because they are all crash fetishists. Or that they like sitting on the motorway.

Take your pick OP - the choice, as they say, is yours...

I forgot we now had the technology to predict accidents.

It happened literally as I joined the motorway. To the lorry and car that have shut the road, thank you.

That's the one.

Judging by the state of the Mercedes, someone lost their life.

25k miles a year and its the same thing. stty ignorant, arrogant, careless driving.

Not speed but plain stty attitudes.

Why doesn't the Government concentrate on that.

More difficult to tax sadly.

Hopefully no serious injuries.

Good luck OP, I got crucified for gently suggesting we might try to find a way to cut the number of accidents when I posted :-)

ETA - I don't think the gov cares, they still get paid.
