Anyone had any dealings with Virtuoso Watches in Turin?

Their prices for top-end stuff are VERY attractive - even with P&P and CC surcharge of 2 per cent.

There is a Speedy itch I need to scratch with my Visa card.

Yes....I've had recent dealings... I won't go into war and peace, but the bottom line is that they're definitely a bona fide outfit, and you'll get what you pay for....smile

My watch was absolutely brand spanking new, and had every sticker, tag etc exactly how it should be...

However, just be aware that the service element could be lacking... For example, when I ordered, my watch was advertised as "in stock"...it wasn't..
Then they said 2 weeks.....fine.......8 weeks later I got my watch......partly my fault, as I didn't account for the Italian summer hols, but lack of communication was a little frustrating..

Bottom line for me was that the wait was worth it for the saving.....and I will definitely buy from them again...

Oh, and ask for a discount on postage... They say €150 to UK.... I paid €90.... Every little helps as they saysmile

Excellent. Thanks for the feedback and the tip about postage.. Thats an interesting experience you had. I'm pretty sure I would have bricked it had I paid them up front and my emails were being fobbed off.

I'm aware that I'm not going to get the VIP treatment that an AD would offer. So I'll factor in the waiting and hassle time. At least they take credit cards so there is a lender of last resort! I'll treat the CC surcharge as an insurance premium.

Makes you wonder about the RRP margins if they are buying in grey stock and still selling it on for a profit.

Will report back.
