Hi All,

Fancy a change from a 2+2 and for some reason seen a nice Gallardo for sale.
From my limited knowledge on the model, I understand the Egear is the best to go for, however is a manual box that bad and a bad purchase?

Anyone know of the below car or trader?

Thanks in advance

2006 or earlier most would say stick with manual, later models go for eGear if you have no preference. Quicker gear change and currently helps resale. If you prefer manual may work in your favour long term as late manuals G's are thin on the ground and will appeal to a certain market. I drove a couple of manuals and loved the gearbox. Clutch was much lighter than I expected and satisfaction of punching the gears through was great. Only gripe was foot had to rest on clutch or under it. Bought eGear in the end after much deliberation. Don't know that car or dealer, sorry.

I love the manual in the Gallardo, it's great to use and the clack-clack of the gate is addictive.

I don't know the particular car that you are looking at, but generally, the Gallardo is a superb and relatively robust car.
