Having been a car owner for more than 30 years I have never had a proper professional valet.

Now I have a lovely 993 in excellent condition I want to keep it in good condition through the winter - it's my daily car even in the winter.

I'd seen a guys work not too far from me in Amsterdam and made an appointment for an assessment and quote.

Anyway the underside has all been wax-oiled and the body, wheels and glass treated to the "full monty" using a product I had never heard of before called "Gyeon".

I have to say the results are stunning. I am really very pleased indeed.

That stripe adds a bit of excitement to the silver paintwork. Looks great! smile

A valet in the UK doesn't normally include the under-side , waxoil , etc. Very nice.
Wonder what made you get it done now , if you 've driven the car in previous winters... any reason ?

Just something I've always meant to do. I got the car last August so it was still relatively "fresh" from the dealer for last winter. But having seen this guys work - I just decided to get it done before the autumn and winter. Good to keep the paintwork in tip top condition.
