Hi all,
Just putting my 390 back together and have ascertained that the fuel rail was never actually bolted down or connected securely to anything ???
It was held in place ( I'm guessing it is a TVR bodge job as the fuel rail is in two halves connected at either end by fuel hose, either a tvr bodge or a previous owner bodge ??? ) simply by the 8 injector hoses.

Is this normal ???

Many Thanks

KKson

Just stripped the fuel rail and injectors off my spare Efi set up and fuel rail was only held there by the hoses.

IIRC on the flapper system the fuel rails are held to the side of the trumpet base by P-clips... not sure about the larger bore hotwire rails though.
