List of insurance group 1 cars please

[Erudite geezer]

From where can I obtain a list of either insurance group 1 cars or the cheapest cars to insure?

Vehicles no more than 10-15 years old, not your undrivable classics.

Insurance groups haven't really meant much for decades, though - the hwole statistical driven system is vastly more complicated than they allow. Car A can easily be cheaper to insure than car B for one person, but vice versa for another.

I went from a BMW 320d to an M135, and despite the car being 6 times the value and having almost double the horsepower, my insurance bill dropped by £15.

Thanks. That works nicely.
