997 Turbo Silver

Hi everyone, I was looking to buy a 997 turbo a couple of years ago and in the end I went for a C63 AMG. Whilst I love the noise the car makes, I am after something a bit sharper and have again come back to 997 turbos. I have been looking at these cars for probably 5 years so I think its something I need to get out of my system!

I like the silver colour and would probably have black wheels, its just a look that I like. Anyone got any photos of this?

The prices seem to vary a lot, for example, this seems about 5-10k cheaper than similar mileage models, any reason why?

Finally, with my C63 I had a warranty and although it never went wrong once it was good peace of mind to have. I'd be looking at exhaust, mapping on the turbo to get a bit more sound and grunt. Am I signing into a potential money pit?

Yep cheap car if mileage is genuine. Wheels have been refurbished giving a slightly polished look. OEM are anodised and not as shiny. Quite easy to tell mileage as the car should be on original brakes, tyres etc at that mileage.Its ver low mileage. I do not think I needed anything until 25,000 miles on mine aside from rear tyres which I made sweat as long as I could. Cars more fun when tread is below 3mm in any event!

Personally, I think black or anthracite wheels look better with a silver rim.

What's your budget?

Budget 50k, would prefer to spend less but seems if you want a decent one with lowish miles its 50k.

Don't really know the market, but at what prices do Gen 2 'manual' Turbos start?

Think that would be my choice if I wanted a 997 Turbo.

Seem to be at around 65k. I have seen them at 60k but not recently.
