Is there anyway you guys could stop the "mazda and a mastiff" video in the news articles.
I love reading these on a Friday but that video is doing my head in in short can we have no videos playing in the news reports please.

Seconded! Can we please not have ANY autoplaying videos in adverts, especially in the middle of a news article.

And 'mouseover' action is a sneaky tactic that shouldn't be permitted on PH.

If if interested in an article, I'm perfectly capable on clicking on it.

I agree that large video ads should not be in the middle of news articles. I was reading the story about the "McLaren 625C confirmed", scrolled down and saw a video for Mazda. What has a Mazda got to do with the Mclaren 635C? Maybe Mclaren is using some technology from Mazda? Maybe they're using components from Mazda? Nope, it's an ad... How misleading.

Those adverts are just plain awful, no need at all for them to be in the middle of every single article. I realise you guys need a revenue stream but I think you make enough off your "for sale" adverts without the need to annoy people with in your face advertising that you just can't get away from.

A step too far IMO.

I've browsed several articles today. I still can't find the button for "I don't fking want a Mazda 3 or a sodding greyhound, thanks!".
