5 day old curry
Discussion
Cooked a great curry last Sunday plagerised from a recipe on Sunday Brunch of the previous week. Supposed to be an Indian pineapple curry but this time I used chicken. I'm very proud of it as it tastes great and I had to buy and mix a load of different spices and herbs to get the correct base sauce. It also contains some coconut milk.
Very spicy and really enjoyed it.
Had loads left so I let it cool and then stuck it in a tupperware container and popped it in the fridge. Unfortunately I have been too busy to eat at home so would it be OK to have tonight or too much of a risk?

I know a number of curry lovers who cook, freeze and then eat it. My Mum, who learnt her recipes in India, was convinced that the taste was enhanced after freezing. As for leaving in the fridge when I was at uni one group of students sharing a house would cook a massive curry on a Sunday and leave it on the hob and feed from it for most of the week. They are all still alive!
I did in the end. I actually so enjoyed making the chicken one that I made the same base sauce with all the spices that I bought to make the original and added a few bits from the fridge like some bacon, chorizo and some mushrooms.
Tonight I'll cook up whats left and add a few more bits.
