Error 500 on new homepage

Changed to the new homepage the other day, has been working fine for a couple of days, but now i get error 500. every other page works fine, only effects the homepage

Are you getting the 500 error every time you go to the homepage? Or intermittently?

We have made some tweaks - is it fixed now?

No it didnt work, but i cleared my cookies and cache and now it's working
