Calling all smugglers - C220 secret stashes

This really isn't going to live up to the title...

Started a new job this week and have been given a 12 plate C220 that was already on the company fleet.

I cannot find a locking wheel nut key. I have thrown two teenage sons on the task, but they too have come up with nothing.

Company fleet admin don't have any info and are happy for me to get the leasing company to sort it out by getting the existing locking nuts removed and replaced with new, and to take the charge for the work.

However, are there any little nooks and crannies that I might want to check first?

I reckon carrying a locking wheel nut key is like carrying an umbrella; if you have one you will never need to use it...

Thanks for the suggestion, but it ain't in there.

I think that I am just going to have to get the existing locking wheel nuts removed and replaced.

Our local MB dealer has a full set of locking nut keys and used them to remove the nuts on last car that we had where the key was missing.

Probably the only bit of good service I've had from them tbh.

I suppose that's a sure fire way to ensure the original key turns up..........

Most likely
