Afternoon all
I have just sold my e92 m3 and am having trouble deciding what to get next. It's a weekend car, I only do approx 5k miles per year and it needs 'rear seats'. Ideally want to keep it for 5-6 years
my short list is:
BMW F12 m6
Porsche 997 911 turbo 08/09
Nissan GTR 11/12
I was positive the GTR was the car for me. I test drove it and obviously love the power but my missed thinks the novelty will wear off and I'll be left with a car which I don't think has the same build quality as the BMW or Porsche.
I love the m6 and have test driven also. Like the balance of power and comfort like my m3 had. Has the most space (small baby and golf clubs
). And given the depreciation it feels like a lot of car for the money
Haven't driven the Porsche yet but a friend says it's he best car he's ever owned. I see this as a between the above two in a way but my hesitation is it's a 5 year old car now and am worried it might start to feel a bit dated. That said I had ok complaints with my m3 which was 6 years old.
Not considering anything else and am completely stuck. Was tempted to hire a GTR for a few days to get more of a feel for it but not sure that will help.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks

6-series is a used car bargain - if you want a big car and can handle the running costs.
GTR has never set my pulse racing. Lives in the "very fast, but so what?" box. Personal opinion.
911 either floats your boat or doesn't. Happens not to float mine but that's just personal taste.
In your situation I'd be looking at another 3-series!
