Hottest place you've driven!

10 years ago the wife and I took a road trip in the states . Whilst in Death Valley I took this picture of the dashboard on our rental Cadillac Deville. It was a long time ago because whilst there we got talking to Rover testers with a V8 75 and an MG 260 which was a 260 bhp Rover 200.
Anyone got any examples preferably with proof!

I managed a reading of 54c whilst driving just south of Marrakech a few years ago, TV weather predicted 52c. The fan stuck on the dash of my van simply slid off in the heat. It wasn't too bad when moving but just stupid hot when out of the van getting water bottles from the shop to refill the fridge.
Driving through Death Valley last May with the girlfriend and the highest we saw was 47°C (117°F).
As rubbish as our rented Chevrolet Cruze was, the air-con was brilliant. Left the car and walked to one viewing point up a slight gradient - maybe 200 metres walking at most - and we were pretty much dead by the time we got back to the car.
This is the only photo we got - temperature climbed another 2°C, but we forgot to take another picture:

Mrs L and I were in Las Vegas a few years ago during a particularly hot August. It was consistently between 45 and 47 degrees celsius - about 113-116 farenhheit.
We left the hire car (US version of the Ford Focus with the most awful automatic gearbox I've ever experienced) outside a shopping centre for a few hours one day and on returning to it I found that I couldn't physically touch any of the controls inside the car because they were so hot. I'm not exaggerating - it was literally oven temperatures inside the car. Pretty much impossible to even breathe, thinking about it.
We had to start it up and put the aircon on full blast for ten minutes whilst we sheltered in a nearby shop.
Whilst waiting, we saw several locals getting in their cars and putting gloves on before driving off.

I wonder how Cadillac ended up using Lexus/Toyota switchgear.
I was just thinking how s
t that dashboard looks and was going to make a joke about the American idea of a "luxury car" then you tell me that if I bought a Lexus it would have switches that cheesy?I'll stick with my dodgy 80s Alfa and cheap Fiats thanks.
Back on topic, 42 degrees C in Ibiza for me so no prizes there.
