Paddy Doherty son leads police on eight-mile car chase

Little prick.
Quite apart from hitting another car head-on and injuring the driver, the part where he careered head-long over the top of an unsighted hill apex really made me o cold. I was imagining a motorbike coming the other way unseen.
14 months? He did NOT get what he deserved as his Old Man said.

I don't get it - why do proper scum (I'm going to stick my neck out here and bet my house he's got a list of previous as long as my arm) always get such poxy sentences?
Put it this way - if I got up at the crack of dawn tomorrow and maxed my bike out on the quiet M62 (ie. 180+) doing no harm to anyone I bet I'd be looking at 12 months inside.
I just don't get it.

scumbags the lot of them , all the Tree hugging peace activists will condemn me , but until you've lived in an area infested by them , you will never know what they're like. Take what they want , spit on pedestrians , try to intimidate everybody they meet. Shame we can't use the R.a.f while they're on call , two birds.
My son was hit by a van which suddenly changed lanes as he was alongside. The van took off and drove on the wrong side of the road until it reached a roundabout, where it simply bounced it's way over the top and back on the wrong side of the road. All this in maybe 200 yds, before turning off down a side road.
My son didn't make any attempt to try to follow, would have been a waste of time. He was unhurt and the car was £450 worse off in damage.
The police said no point in following up as only part of the reg number was collected. The driver had all the hallmarks of the same ethnic background as the OPs story. Law unto themselves and simply don't care about others.

Probably just need to do a fly by in one of these. Job, jobbed. Perhaps if we all dodged taxes for 6 months and clubbed together.

The uphill overtake at the Gypsies Tent pub (really) is bad enough but the collision occurs a hundred yards or so down the wrong side of an incredibly busy dual carriageway which has no points to get on to the right side for at least another mile. You wouldn't pull that kind of madness even on GTA V, absolutely bound to end up in a huge smash.
But then homicidal driving seems to run in the family
