Changing jobs - should I switch my pension?
Discussion
Changing jobs at the moment to work in the Middle East (Qatar) where I will get no pension, however a bigger salary.
I've been paying into a pension with current employer for the past 6 years. I'm 31, should I switch my pension provider from Hargreaves Lansdown (Scottish Widows) to somebody else?

In principle, is your pension invested in a way that you're happy with? Are you paying too much, can you get the same thing for less, are you paying for bells and whistles you don't need? Pension providers are drawn from a broad church but if you're going overseas and want to let it run for a while, do you even need the potential added cost of a SIPP? Are you happy with current fund performance?
If you have over £30k so, you should be looking around to see who'll charge you less. Take into account too, any other investments you want to include in that amount.
