My contract states I get over time pay at time and a half. I am told that I will only get paid over time at time. Do I have any recourse over this? I moved departments but my contract never changed, I have a letter from the number 2 person in the company stating the changes to my contract, and over time isn't mentioned. If I only get time rather than time and a half, can I rightfully request that I get paid the half as well?
Yes, you can. Ultimately, you could sue for the overtime pay either in the county court or in an employment tribunal. This is both a breach of contract and an unlawful deduction from wages. Moreover, failure to pay is usually a repudiatory breach of the contract giving grounds for constructive dismissal, but that's a nuclear option. Be firm and insist on payment in accordance with the contract.

Thank you for your reply. I will be doing 24 hours of over time next weekend, so I will find out on my next pay day, but I live by fore warned is fore armed! The nuclear option sounds fun hahaha. I am already in dispute with my employers over my working hours.
