Hi mate....The mesh can rot inside it and it can become all gummed up if its not been used for years...So its hard to say..A refurbished one..(About 300 smackers to rebuild) should go for around 400-600...Probably worth about 100-150 if someone wants to take the chance.

The top coolant inlet housings are quite rare and fetch a good price if in good condition.

.....and on this topic, are there firms Wedge owners would recommend who specialise in this system and/or supply parts? My Car's been sitting for a decade and the system is likely to need some TLC at the very least.. Thanks.

Hi mate...I would strongly recommend this company, The guy's name is Steve and he is very knowledge in the K-Jetronic and is a good bloke..You can tell him that Mark recommended you if you venture this side of the pond...Im sure he has no problem with sending stuff to Oz....

No worries mate...The first thing i did with my air box was to have a housing made from stainless that would bolt straight to the sensor plate housing, The plastic part that is sitting on top of the box i had made was from another car although I'm sure it was a Capri...It depends how your air filter box connects to the sensor plate, Mine was one unit so i had to find one that wasn't ....I then ran a cold air feed to a K&N in the nosecone...Just make sure the opening is 3"...Made a big difference as the previous set up was just pulling hot air from the rad...Not ideal on a sportscar!....

If you need any more info ill pull it off my old hard drive...Ziga

For Info -

If you're not in UK, then remember that quite a lot of VW, Audi, and some Volvo models had the K-jet system,
so if you can't find Ford people, you may be able to get help via above dealers.

I was able to get a fuel filter and Bosch part numbers from a VW/Audi dealer, and they could order the right parts, here in NZ.

(Zig, Yeah - that looks like a Capri air box to me)
