Small car request, Mini silverback is driving!!!

[silverback mike]

Afternoon all.

Before someone says it, yes I have checked Ebay (or should I say checking...) and Autotrader.
However as per PH, it's nice to put the word out.....

Alex, my lad is taking official driving lessons, however to pad these out I'm going to take him out also. However, my current vehicles aren't really suitable. I missed out on an E36 Ti Compact earlier but I'm thinking further afield.

Namely a Nissan Micra of R-52 reg, the bubble shaped thing. They appear to be indestructible, 16valve and pretty much what we need for the short term.

Any ideas or anyone flogging a beauty not necessarily a Micra, but similar.

I really struggled to find a first car for me as the scrappage scheme had just come out.

You might be able to get something good out of the local paper/adverts at local shops if they have one of those classified type things if an old biddy is selling her car as that's her autotrader.

11,808 Micra's were scrapped in the Scrappage Scheme. I'm not sure many escaped....
