Does anyone know how to remove the front bumper from a 1987 vintage 944.

just the bit with the sidelights on.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mike.

Not sure if this will help as its an extract from my Haynes manual for the 924 but should be the same, right???
1) Follow wires from indicators & unplug wires at connector.
2) If headlamp washers are fitted, pull washer hose from T-fitting at reservoir.
3) The bumper is held in place by 2 bolts, one either side of the number plate, just behind the bumperette pads. Insert proper size socket into the access holes beneath the bumper & unbolt the bumper
4) Remove the bolts, lock washers & flat washers from each side.
5) Remove the bumper.
Hope this helps, let me know, ok?

Unfortunately not....so ended up delving into the one I have to change the belts and have a good gander inside it. It all looks pretty good, so will have to work out ways to make the little badger a bit faster.

Cheers
