Loctite 5900 remover ?..

Stuck the spacers down with loctite 5900, what can I ise to get the stuff off the spacers ?, any solvent cleaner that will do it ? Tried white spirits but pretty useless

How about a bit of wet and dry? Old fashioned but will get it off.

Cellulose thinners/gun wash don't breath in the vapours though and keep away from plastics.

I feel your woes mate, but why glue?
At the risk of repeating and only trying to help;
make sure spacers are as straight and true as possible [vice, hammer, whatever]
Have rocker covers ready with drying blue hylomar
place spacers on heads with 'Loctite black silicone sealant' [as used on sumps]
place rockers with standard rubber gaskets and tighten as normal. [one head at a time]

I've taken my rocker covers off and on again without disturbing the spacers and without oil leaks.
