C63 - (Not so) Intelligent Lighting..
Discussion
Hi,
I've left my user manual at the other end of the country and therefore thought I would check on here.
I've gone into the menu system to turn this Intelligent lighting off. I'm assuming that this is the automatic headlamp dipper control. I find that it really doesn't suit me at all and isn't that great.
Even though I have deactivated it, I still do not have control over my main beams from the left hand stalk. When I pull it towards me or push it away the headlamp icon with "A" on it still appears on the dash as if to say that the intelligent lighting system is still engaged.
Any ideas about how I can go about getting an old fashioned headlamp main beam switch?

Intelligent lighting is separate from intelligent high beam assist - you need to disable the latter which will be in the same menu.
If you've turned off intelligent lighting then all this does is stop the headlamp swivelling/cornering functionality. I'd put that back on and turn off your high beam assist at which point you should have full control of your main beams.
