Last night I was chatting with a mate of mine and in the background the film Hitch was on.
The scene came on when they're in some sort of warehouse at what Eva Mendes calls a 'Food Rave'. You have a 'lesson' of how to cook a meal and eat it as you go.
We both thought this would be a bit of a laugh but couldn't for Google find it.
Any ideas of what to look for?
(cue someone finding it on Google in about 3 seconds)

Something like this: http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipease/locations/
Pretty sure I've seen a similar setup in Fortnums also. I've been invited to a Weber BBQ event before which is probably the closest I can think of.

Did a good one of these in New Orlins. Gumbo, Jambalaya, Bread Pudding and Pralines. The scene came on when they're in some sort of warehouse at what Eva Mendes calls a 'Food Rave'. You have a 'lesson' of how to cook a meal and eat it as you go.

Presume it's a little far for you though!

We went to the 'Group Demo' as opposed to the hands on one: http://www.neworleansschoolofcooking.com/classes-e...
But the lady who ran it, in between courses and during cooking time told us stories of her growing up in NO, stories of the local area etc. Was good fun for $25/head. An expensive lunch, surely, but damn nice, plus they gave you the recipes and told you how to make it!

$25 a head for a 3 course lunch with a difference seems like good value to me...We went to the 'Group Demo' as opposed to the hands on one: http://www.neworleansschoolofcooking.com/classes-e...
