Classic Motor Show - NEC

Probably give it a miss this year, expensive and over crowded!
( waits to get shot down..."have you seen how much to go to a football match these days" and other comparisons)

Looks like "Southerners" don't like being upstaged and are having there own show in the New Year, London Classic Show

Agree with you Mike - very overcrowded. The southerners bit - hmmm. Excel not the easiest to get to, and you can guarantee it will be full of astronomically "out of touch" machinery. So I'll likely pass on this too....( waits to get shot down..."have you seen how much to go to a football match these days" and other comparisons)

Barry and I are going on the Saturday. We shall dutifully attend the TVRCC stand at the appointed hour.
It is a long established tradition ( almost 12 months now ) that we bring biscuits.
I, for one, shall buck the trend and bring something different this year.
I'm thinking, in no particular order of preference:
T reacle Tart
V iennese Whirls
R ock Cakes ( or those cakes made by Rolo ) and maybe some
S ponge Fingers.
And it's someone else's turn to make all the teas this year.
See you at midday. Or noon.
Or 12 o'clock ( 12:00 hrs GMT ) ish.

Are you sure it'll fit in the Chim's boot Andy? Interested in Strongman Tools 4 post lift again, to solve my parking problem. Our wonderful town planners have rejected my planned garage extension.

The planners haven't got a clue, have they?
You were pretty good at doing sideways at Blyton
