1969 Vixen S2 window rubber
Discussion
Hey Guys, I'm in the US and have been a TVR nut since I was 10 years old and saw a friend's older brother's car, in the late 60s. I have had a 1969 TVR Vixen S2 for over 30 years and restored it back in mid 90s and replaced the 1600 with a SOHC 2.0 dynoed at 170 HP at the crank. Car is loads of fun.
My problem is, I have been doing some things which needed attention and one of those projects is a new glass front windscreen and rear Plexiglass in back. I got rubber from the TVR parts guy here in the US and today I was putting in the rubber and it is not seating on the body correctly after the spreder is in. My question is are their suppliers of the original design of the window rubber available in UK. Please let me know, as I'm trying to get a few more drives in before the winter and now have no glass in the car. Here are a couple of pictures one of my car and the other is the motor.
