Four pot E38 Brembos under 15" rims...

Has anyone actually tried getting four pot E38 Brembos to fit under standard Chim front rims on 278mm discs rather than on bigger discs using 16's?

I guess it won't be too much of a pain if I do have to change to 16's as I will need new front tyres soon due to a geo issue but I like the look of 15's on the front.

The brembo calipers are massive,as I have them on my Audi RS2, under 17's. I have the AP caliper on the chim under 16 's spiders, and again its a big caliper and a tight fit, but the obviously the discs are. I dont think you can machine the caliper down as the brake fluid pipe runs along the bottom of the caliper, so I dont think you can machine them down enough to fit? Surely they wont fit as standard under the chims 15's as my AP calipers are shoe horned in,under the 16's spiders?

Probably not but it would be interesting to see if they could ...

I don't think they will fit anything less than 16inch, i had to space my 17" to get them to fit (off set problem) and someone put pics on here with 16" rims and they were very close. These are with 324mm RS Focus discs but the callipers them selves are pretty big, these may help?

Might be a better upgrade for the Focus than the comedy 8 pot stuff that seems to be produced.

At the end of the day even the 888/887 calipers are more than man enough for the job on the road ... I'm just a bling bh obviously!

its nice to have a good branded caliper under there, and brembo AP's do look nice. What about the Hi-spec caliper, that are really just a copy of the long established AP ones, will they fit?
