Vauxhall Warranty Gone
Discussion
News is that Vauxhall are backing out of their lifetime warranty. Not that is all that by all accounts. It would also appear that other manufacturers will follow suit.
Interesting, this. Volvo had a similar scheme back in the early 80's - but the restrictions of having to be serviced by Volvo agents caused that to go tits up with the Block Exemption rules.
I would guess that the warranty insurance companies will step in to provide (better?) cover. We shall see.

Surely most their cars are only kept for 3 years anyway and the unlimited warranty wasn't transferrable to the next owner was it?
Headlines of a life time warranty did indeed have its clauses, doubt many took advantage after the normal 3 year's was passed, saying that I'm interested in this as the wife's car is covered by this scheme, I guess existing car's still covered and new ones not? rigga said:

Current cars and cars registered prior to January 1st 2015 will retain the Lifetime warranty. After that any new cars sold will be on the origional 3-year 60,000mile cover.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
