... Always wanted one of these and today it arrived - it doesn't disappoint in any way. Here's a quick photo, but as this is one of the first Speedies with the impressive new packaging I'll post some more photos when I get a chance. Dominic is a dangerous man - I must delete his contact details before he becomes too familiar! hehe

Nice, I noticed there was a new reference number for the 'classic' moon watch. Apart from the additional straps and packaging is there any difference in the steel bracelet?

The bracelet is different - links now held with pins and retaining screws. I'll post up some detailed photos when I get back home (away until Monday). The box and contents are impressive too.

I've never bought a watch from him but I have chatted with him about some. I'm scared to meet him in person. My credit score is good enough to get me into a lot of trouble!

In my experience, Mr H uses the most cast iron method of recorded, registered, signed for, insured mail available. Having said that, I did make a trip to London from Nottingham for my Wife's engagement ring when I bought that from him.

Lovely Speedy - great choice. A timeless classic.

I have just dropped Dom an e-mail also with a request to source something for me. I can feel my bank balance groaning at the mere thought.

It was..........albeit a pleasant experience hehe

Just have to wait 4-6 weeks for the new wrist candy to arrive and then pop down to his office to collect it biggrin

The waiting is the killer - my Speedie was a long time because of the transition to the new model with posh box and updated bracelet. It's a lovely watch - getting used to wearing it now smile
