M6 wheel refurb

I'm thinking of getting my M6 wheels refurbed to be the same as these....

Been quoted £140+vat per wheel which I think is decent. Question is... will they be a nightmare to maintain?

Sorry, what's the difference between these and normal 20" M5/M6 wheels (looks the same as mine do currently)?

They look like fully polished wheels (Raj does top work, had afew sets done with him before), so they have no protection and you will have to use metal polish to keep on top of them (Mothers Metal polish is decent stuff) yes will be a pain to keep clean and I would only use them in the summer!

Standard wheels are diamond cut, wheels in the picture are mirror polished.

They do look stunning, my mate had his 19" M3 alloys done like that. High maintenance tho, hope you enjoy polishing !

It seems you can get some good wheel sealants nowadays which should help, and the car is off the road over the "salty" months so I reckon it's worth a punt..
