Holy crap. I only just had a quick search through Google Play. Prior to buying my S3, I just thought it was s
te like Farmville, Fruit Ninja, Smurfs and Angry Birds.
Stumbled across GT Racing 2.
It's like a mini version of GT4. The graphics is impressive. The handling - well, turn all the aids off and you can lift off getting the car sliding outwards. Angry Birds?
p
s off! Not gonna pay money but it looks like I can earn "$" to buy stuff by just, you know, racing.
Just checking out Brothers In Arms 2 for some BF3 action.
Edit: Suspect I will end up pushing my thumb through the screen at some point.
Edit2: Oh Christ. BIA2 can use the gyroscope so I end up spinning around. Currently standing in my room.

Think I'm done.
Now have:
Brothers In Arms 2 - reminds me of Medal of Honour
GT Racing 2
Real Racing 3
Lumosity (brain training)
Not sure which racing game is better. They're both impressive in terms of graphics, sound and "handling". Lift-off oversteer, etc. Very Gran Turismo but they both make you either wait when upgrading or pay for gold coins to do instant upgrades. I can wait. At some point, it'll probably stop me from progressing(?) but I enjoy racing whatever the car.
Lumosity is just for quick entertainment when I have a spare minute and not that much battery power.

Seriously tempted to ditch GT Racing 2 - it takes too many races to build up cash and to unlock decent vehicles. The RWD model is suspect even if the FWD model seems to make sense.
RR3 - it's a keeper. The overpowered cars are slippy slidey if you just mash the accelerator mid-corner. Perfect. Gained access to reasonable RWD cars quite quickly.
Lumosity is still interesting.
Downloaded New Star Soccer as it sounded curious. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.... It's quite entertaining and works very well for a phone game.
Anyway, anyone recommend any other games? I'm looking for something else like NSS in terms of playability. I can just play 30 seconds here and there, then kill NSS when a client turns up and carry on after a meeting. Want something with a bit of character development. Have looked at Dungeon Gems and Heroes of Dragon Age but they both require permanent net access to play even the single player game.
