Found this inside door?
Discussion
Hi Ryan, hope your well,
Yeah i'm wondering if its a red herring now, due to the lack of suggestions. I'll stick it in by box of bits.
Glad to see you got the cerb over there, iv'e got to say, I am a bit jealous of you driving around out there, must be a real headturner.
Hope the rebuild was a planned one and not some sort of catostrophic failure. I had to put a new clutch and slave in mine last year, that was interesting as the mk1 clutch is no longer available, but all good since then.
Good luck with the rebuild
Simon.

Looks like a cover to go over the door switch (the one that detects if the door is open or closed)
No it doesn't. Cerbs (with a very few rare exceptions) don't have a mechanical door switch and that wouldn't fit over the reed sensor in the door which doesn't have or need a cover anyway.Edited by Tanguero on Tuesday 7th October 13:11
