Porsche Diagnostic Cable – Reset airbag light
Discussion
Folks,
I am looking at a cheap method of resetting my airbag light on Porsche and reading fault codes/reset service lights etc. The only options as I see are
1. Go to Porsche dealer or Garage (which is expensive)
2. Durametric Diagnostic kit which is still expensive but the only aftermarket kit I can see.
Does anyone know of any others or have any recommendations for any diagnostics kits? My other car is a BMW and I have a cheap INPA cable kit which does the job perfectly (I don’t mind cheap clones if anything is available)
Thanks in advance.

I recently had a coil pack go but at the time I couldnt be bothered to check each one, to see which had failed so had it plugged into diagnostics to find out which pack failed, he also reset the light. I changed the faulty coil pack and changed the other 5 in my own time it cost about £30 and came to my house.
