Its actually fine. My heart was in my mouth until a local marra towed it out with his Landy using some rather thin nylon rope i had in the boot.
Ran 11.6 @ 126 a few hours later at Kirkbride running 2nd fastest RWYB car there

That first picture Especially after your recent bodywork! Glad the car came out unscathed and of course you weren't hurt On the flip side, so good to see these cars being used

RainSport 3's are highly rated in these parts as an every day tyre. Exceptional wet handling, worth a thought now that winter is well and truly on it's way.

I was actually going slow but it was a tightening right hander off a dodgy B road to a T junction. I was trying to break for the junction and the car just locked up and went straight on. In a split second decision i decided to let it run the kerb straight on rather than risk the alloys hitting the kerb sideways. Just ran further into the undergrowth than i expected. The car was beached and i had to wait for help to come along

Ha. Not really a Barrow expression. I was oop North Cumbria near Wigton at the time. Proper Marras up those parts eh

I think I would have the car checked over before running it at Kirkbride, just my humble opinion, but glad you and your Chim are ok.

Anyone with any sense wouldn't have run at Kirkbride given the conditions. But we did and it was fantastic scary fun.
I checked the car myself and after the 10 miles from the incident to Kirkbride was confident nothing was damaged.
