Just ordered a E Class saloon what MPG can I expect round town and motorway miles. Sold my Evoque due to. Business decision , and getting a great price for it. I thought I would have an E Class on a two year deal . I ordered a 220 AMG auto saloon with a few extra toys.

Thankyou4calling

I have the same engine in an E Class convertible so you can use these figures as a base.

2014 car, only done 850 miles so far.

Average is 50mpg.

I've not done any real stop start yet, most days it's a cold start then a leisurely 12 miles to work and 12 mile return on an A road.

One long motorway trip.

It's improving on my daily run and I'd expect it to hit 55.

I had a 250 SLK CDI previously and my overall in that was 53mpg.

Hi. Ive had an E220 CDI SE for about 9 months now, doing a mixture of constant speed dual carriageway running with a little town driving. Have done about 8,000 miles in that time and it has improved as the engines loosens up..

Im getting about 43 mpg overall with a best of low 50s on a long constant speed run at around 75mph.

Hope this helps.

I am averaging 52.7 over the last 60k miles in my 2011 220, mostly motorway driving, but even trips into London see high 40's. mine is the last of the 5g box. Yours should be a bit better than this with the 7 speed box.

Just to add, they get better with lots of miles. Mine is on 230k now and I often see 55 plus on good days.

I've had mine for almost two years and its used pretty much exclusively around town and during that time it hovers between 28-32MPG.
