Red Old School (poss vixen) Dieppe Ferry Terminal.

Yesterday I was waiting for the ferry back to Newhaven from Dieppe. There was a red TVR which I guess was a Vixen but I only saw it from a distance.

I was in a convoy of big green trucks and was tempted to come and chat but the owners were in the cafe until just before boarding. The weather was crap and I also didn't want to interrupt your journey.

That was me and the missus in our Vixen s4 coming back from a week of glorious weather and fine eating in France. Green trucks were army vehicles!

Yeah that's it and thanks for replying. There was also a BRG classic car which I assumed to be an MG of some sort. The only other Vixen that I've ever seen in the flesh is the blue one at Beaulieu which I fell in love with.

On my return home I looked on the usual sites for a classic TVR project but I guess there's not many neglected Vixens around that need rescuing.

getting fewer and fewer but they do come up from time to time. Good ones go for a fair bit these days, compared to 5 or 6 years ago

Yeah I've noticed that. £4-7 k for one that needs loads of work! Guess that's ok though compared to what old escorts to for, even the non RS ones. Puts them out of reach to me for the time being though.
