laptop (notebook?) advice needed
Discussion
Sorry if this has been asked a billion times before but can anyone help me with a laptop purchase?
My needs are:
Good sized screen for presentations
Reasonably fast - to run promo videos etc
decent sized hard disc, (40Gb +)
Tough enough to lug around the countryside (not too bothered about weight though)
CD + DVD rewriter compatible
Broadband + dial up capable
MS Office already loaded
Memory stick
Reasonably current spec, so it stays useful for a couple of years at least!
All in cost under a grand including case if possible.
I've looked at ACER and Dell, plus PC World and everyone else. I'm not a technical divvyhead but the specs these people were spouting were going straight over my head.
Somebody point me in the right direction - please! :sob:
