Centre Rad is looking sick, thinking of changing it myself, has anyone attempted, looking at exploded views the job does not look too difficult. I only have standard hand tools and sockets. Any advise?

I think you will also need hose clamps so you don't lose any coolant apart from what is in the rad and you will need to check the coolant level the next morning and probably top it up.

Thanks for the advise. I understand raising the front higher than the rear of the car minimises drainage of the complete system. I understand they air trap often and it can be difficult to bleed the air from the rad as its not possible to loosen clips to bleed as porsche use a form of hose release system.

Porsche use a vacuum fill system. I would use hose clamps as per S3nicks post, connect the bottom hose and fill the rad though the top hose connection. I did this method when I change all three rads last year with no problems.
