Hello i'm just looking for a bit of advice, looking at getting a DSLR but not sure which

Budget - £600 max

I take all different types of photos so would need it to be able to capture motorsport, scenery, close ups of animals and diffrent sporting events.

Cheers

Motorsport is the key sticking issue for the £600 max limit

You'll need to start thinking about lenses too - eg a 70-300mm for motorsport.

why ?? yes, you won't get the fasted glass in the world but...

I have a Sony, so I would recommend the A58 with kit lens... (309 on amazon)

then.. 55-300mm f4.5-5.6 SAM sony lens, new out last year, has great sharpness, i have this and its pretty good for the price! (243 on amazon)

(got in before the canikon fans arrive!)

I use Sony, Nikon and Canon, so have no 'fanboy' issues. However, just have a look at the next bunch of 'togs photographing F1 or Premier League and note what cameras they use. That'll let you know what the professionals choose.

yeh, mainly because of the range of lenses is there for them.. where as Sony "pro" grade lenses needs expanding somewhat... for the amateur / pro-sumer market Sony is definitely up there with canikon, if not better and Sony make the sensors for some (??) Nikon cameras anyway...

Until they kill their DSLT range to focus on mirrorless instead. The Sony A-mount cameras are feeling more and more like a technological dead end.
