P38 Japanese imports?

Hi,I am looking at a '96 P38 auto that was re-imported in 2005 from Japan anything I should look out for?Had a Disco before but I lost a lot of cash on that due to rust!I would really appreciate any help/ info with this Range Rover,it has air bags,pas,it's mot'd till next year,it
has LPG - what checks should I do with that?Its a 4litre V8 any trouble with cylinder liners moving,thought I heard something about that somewhere?As for the LPG should that have been serviced too?I am buying this for towing when I move back down to Kent,I have a 60's classic that I'm taking with me & I thought the P38 would be a cheaper route than paying a transport firm.What are these cars like to live with,is routine servicing OK?Most parts cheap to buy and given this car is 18 yrs old anything else I should look out for?People have told me to steer well clear because of the electrics in these cars any truth in that?Thanks for any replies.
