Download help for an idiot please.

Ok, compared to probably 99% on here, I am witless. I buy a game, play it, end of.

I recently completed Walking Dead series 1, and trotted off to buy series 2 to be advised its only on download.

Here's the hard part, I've never downloaded anything, but thought, why not!

Logged onto the store, registered after much swearing. Found the series, put money in my wallet, purchased and pressed download.

I was advised by the 13 year old son of a friend it could take a while.

A day later I eagerly went to play, but it's nowhere to be found. Checked purchases and yes it's there in black and white that I bought it, but downloaded games , nothing.

Can anyone please tell me where it might be as I am now stumped.

Edited to say I'm still on PS 3 if it makes a difference and yes I checked what I bought was for PS3

i haven't used the PS3 store for a while...but sounds like it hasn't finished downloading (it won't download if the PS3 is off or asleep)

near the main screen option for the store, there should be a 'downloads' option - hopefully its in there and some percentage complete? keeping your PS3 on until this reaches 100% does it.

i think you then end up with the game in the list but in a 'bubble' - you'll need to select/open it to install it...and then it'll be playable

i know it feels like a faff the first time, but there's no going back...you'll never want a disc again

(although, for PS3 specifically, if you get a new PS3 you have to individually download everything again - can't transfer directly from one to another).
