Hello!

so i finally got a cerb yesterday (4.5)

im fond of quirky fibreglass cars. My other is a 60s ginetta, and have had a marcos and others

initially i was looking at tuscans. And then drove a cerb for back to back comparison thinking i wouldn't like it... The cerb won

found that the cerb was just natural to drive. Pedals and steering in the right place. The v8 really does sound fantastic

was also considering getting a TVR vixen, but with cerb prices as they are i couldnt resist

car bought from very helpful PH member, and despite higher mileage than most cerbs, was by far in the best condition i had seen- also act exhaust and nitrons a bonus. Jason at Str8six inspected it for me. It will need top-end rebuild due to valve shims running out of adjustment to be done next year.

not the best pic, at my local tesco
i do love the colour, and the black interior is subtle.

I may be posting some questions up in the future on here smile

Looks great. I was thinking about going to look at this one. Looks like I'm too late.

hi yes, was private sale. very helpful owner who maintained it in amazing condition for its age- all paint original, and chassis good

just firing her up is a joy

its the same colour as my 60s ginetta, better not park them together... will look like the cerbie has spawned offspring

Congratulations, and welcome to the mad house!

My Cerb was also my first TVR .... nearly 6 years on still loving it! Although my two kids are rapidly outgrowing the rear seats (7yrs and 9yrs now).

If you have kids - next time you are in Tesco go and park in the Parent and Child spaces, watch all the tutting and stares (with the noise and looks of the Cerb you will quickly realise that there is no such thing as a descrete entrance..!) then look at their faces again when you pop the front seat forwards and the kids get out of the back!!

Congratulations, what a fantastic looking car!

It looks so good I might just take it back if you are having even the slightest doubt! I've been in the garage more than once in the last 24 hours and it's all wrong...

I sincerely hope you get as much pleasure from it as I've had over the last six years.

Tom

That was a 4.2. I was going to look at it but it was sold to a chap who came from Europe to view it.
