991 GT3 rattle at idle

Tell me I am paranoid

I have just got 1200 miles up and now have a rattle at idle that was not there before. Its from both sides and comes from inside the side mufflers.

Once the revs rise you cant here it over the exhaust, but it sounds valve related if anything. Did 9000 rpm for the first time this weekend

Oil pressure is good, car feels fine.

Anyone else got this?

Not much to go on but maybe a broken/loose baffle in your exhaust/muffler?

Although would be unusual in such a new car. Sounds like one for the OPC to investigate and fix under warranty.

Normal; the exhaust flap vacuum elements have a pre determined length that holds the valves 'just' off of the mechanical stops - I reported the noise when the car was launched and all the cars I've checked are the same. If you cycle the exhaust switch you can hear the noise come and go. Nothing to worry about.
