Electric Water Pump

as it feels i don´t have enough work with the datsun those days and colder temperature is comming
an old problem came into my mind after 150km autobahn drive in the night. oil temps go up to 80C
water stays 60-65C at crusing speed. as the water pump is driven by the alternator belt that is
rev dependent my thought had been to exchange the pump with an electric version and a controller.

let´s say if this controller would regulate the flow rate of the pump temperature dependent
normally the temps should go up to 90C without any probs if the pump can reduce flow until
a certain temperature is reached. of course if it is realy hot the pump will flow max to cool
down the engine properly.

anybody has some experience with those kinds of pumps on an RV8 ?
