hey, I'm new to this so please be kind.

Recently ordered (and now soon to be built) the new Cayman gts. I opted for sapphire blue, black exterior pack, SS and partially "20 black alloys from the carrera s.

Being looking online to try and find some photos of people with the same spec to see how it will look etc matched up together (make sure the blue and black offset well)

Haven't had much success....would be interested if any ones got this spec sharing photos.

Thanks in advance

Hi Trotmant

Help is at hand, I have just taken delivery of said Sapphire Blue GTS avec black partially painted wheels (sadly sans SS though) - to me its the "mut's nuts" or the "puppy's privates" - but I would say that having brought the thing, wouldn't I?

Its also a really good drive & here I speak with some knowledge having owned 944s, Boxsters, & numerous iterations of the 911, from 911Sc up to & including GT3s x2 & 991: for this country the GTS is spot on. There you are, those are my credentials, what I will do tomorrow is take a couple of photos & upload them for you, if I can that is.

Rob

Why don't you build it on the configurator ?

Wicked thanks Rob would be great to see your car. Instinct tells me it's a good mix but until you see it you never know. Had before a gen 1 Cayman s but after blowing the engine twice I had to make this one slightly special! Looking forward to the snaps

Yes I've done this but it's not the same as seeing a HD photo IMO

Hi Trotmant,

I have photos but the upload feature of this forum freezes when I try to attach pics. So if you e-mail me, details in my profile I'll send them by that method.

Upload them to Photobucket, you then get [IMG] tags that you just copy and paste into a post on here and Et Voila!

That would be useful if you can get them on here, Sorry Rob the joys of the PH process is I can't email for 24hours since reg. Genuis process design.

Or send me an email (assuming here the process works) and I will reply with my personal email address. thanks.

Hi Sarnie,

Many thanks for your advice & help but PH wouldn't allow me to upload any images whatsoever, kept freezing on me, so had to revert to good old hotmail in the end. With a bit of luck Tom (Trotmant) will now be in receipt of the photos he desired by now.

Do you also have one of these wonderful machines? I'm still amazed by how good they are, just shows ultimate speed does not a great car make!!

Cheers
Rob

Open the photo in 'Paint' then select resize by 40%...

Turns a 4128 x 2322 3.37MB pic into a 1652 x 929 @ 528kb - much more forum friendly and saves time not having to upload them to PhotoBucket... smile
