The TOTB III DVD arrived this morning

Brought back some (un)happy memories of a very unwell Z06
Good to see the other guys on the 1/4 mile

Specially liked Nadine's interview and the "hard" pigeon

Inspired me to get my car finished and ready to blow some doors off at TOTB IV!

Good quality DVD, although a pity they didn't show any top end shots of the vettes.

The ZR-1's will definitely be doing better next year, preparation is already under way...

at least you guys get a CorvetteClub feature showing your cars (amongst the extra bits on the DVD)

VHR have you got the Motec sorted yet, and where's the Ram/Z06/ACR pics ???

Stuart - the guy who lives with me - he's got some digital camera (video) footage of some of the Vette top end stuff. If there's any interest I'll find out where he's put it - I think he may have circulated some of it straight after TOTB.

Hope everyone is well and a Merry Christmas to all you Yanksters out there.

I recieved my DVD yesterday, interesting to see that my car went on the 1st run,you can actually hear it detonate as i go into 3rd gear and then the smoking begins.
I also noticed Jasons 368 smoking and as for yours nigel if it wasnt so serious it would be laughable,i really hope your Z06 doesnt end up like your supercharged C4,where your flogging a dead horse
My car never really stood a chance, how Jeal and modified can be used in the same sentence,i think the the only vette to drive away from Elvington without a problem was Zr1forfun(untouched by Jeal).

Try emailing Ben, the adminstrator. Your user name was ZR1427
Anyway, some of you may be interested to see my latest post which is as follows:

For the benefit of Cliff I repeat it below:

"Mike, well done on the forthcoming feature on your car - I'm sure the quality of your car will be reflected in an interesting article.

As regard "naming and shaming", I'm with Mike (spot on as usual mate), Mick and others, as I have stated previously. However whilst it is marvelous to see the membership debating what is without doubt a VERY IMPORTANT MATTER, it is time for a decision to be taken as to whether we should or should not name.

So come on committee, where are you? - lets have a decision now and we can then move on.

Incidentally, another UK based Corvette forum has recently been discussing the unsatisfactory performance of a different Corvette specialist who has been named."

Well said that man! The other side of my tale of woe was that I'd 'run the car out of oil', well all I know (and I am only a female!) is that I'd had the car 2 days, it still had plenty of oil but a lovely creamy colour. So if there is a genuine other side to the tales we've told it would be great to hear them. I also wonder whether as members of CCCUK we can object to people/companies advertising in vette news?

Hi heather hope you and keith had a good xmas and a happy new year to you both and the rest of your family. Now to the point we should be allowed to put what we like in the corvette magazine.I know i,m not a member at the moment but at the end of the day without people like you {the members} there would not be a corvette owners club.

Come on you tight fisted old git. Everyone knows taxi drivers earn a fortune so here's the link. Fill out the form, send off your money and you will no longer have a guilty conscience.

Not much point in Joe joining at the moment as he hasn't got a vette, just a pile of broken bits
