1. Money is money, and having lost my job I don't have a lot at the moment, certainly none to waste.

2. What little I have I would rather give to a fellow enthusiast than a business.

3. I have new, correct pattern, sill plates. Sourced the metal and got them laser cut and folded on the cheap. wink

You appear to have a comfortable life style Andrew, I have no doubt you have worked hard for it and I don't begrudge you a thing but there are "all sorts" running and enjoying their TVR's, some on perhaps a bit more of a "shoe string" than yourself.

I appreciate that Mike however as enthusiasts i just feel we have a duty to our cars that we help maintain the Companies that specialise in making parts for them so future generations of owners still have these suppliers to help them.
I would rather spend 10 to 15% more for a part from a TVR specialist that i know because i do when i need there help with advice or other i feel at liberty to pick up the phone and ask for help.
We are all different
Good luck with finding a new job
